A never corroded or collision damaged example of 25 left drives built, this beautiful automobile was originally delivered to Beverly Hills, California on October 16, 1963 and was resold thereafter to the famous New York Metropolitan Opera tenor, Sergio Franchi. In 1980 it became the cherished possession of a wel reputeded New York restorator who in 1989 commissioned our firm to carry out a Concours quality re-trim of the interior in Connolly VM846 Tan hide with matching 5202 Tan Everflex roof. A thorough refurbishment of the chassis, suspension and undercarriage was carried out at the same time. In 2007, in very well preserved and cared for order, it became part of the collection of the Acamdemy Award winning fil actor and highly regarded automobile enthousiast, Nicolas Cage. We were fortunate enough to aquire the automobile wearing its first repaint to White in November, 2008 whit only 64.457 miles traveled in 45 years. One of our first clients and driends had long admired the Special Garnet exterior of LSCX257, the famous ex-Kurt Juergens Drophead and asked to be advised if a suitable candidate for refinishing to that hue ever presented itself. As this example had only been refinished once, the situation was ideal concerned and the automobile was delivered in 2009 to its fourth owner following a fresh mechanical review and refurbishment and the installation of an efficient fascia ducted air conditioner. Following the unfortunate demise of that elegant gentleman, it was supplied by ourselves at 65.033 miles to its most recent keepers who coincidentally had been friendly with him. Correct handbooks, complete small and large tools and copies of the factory history accompany this worthy 67.484 mile candidate for addtion to anyone's stable.
