Only 1.232 Mercedes 280SE 3.5 L were produced. They represented at that time the symbol for status, luxury and reliability. It was truly the flagship model of Mercedes-Benz and also the last hand build convertible. The car has many options such as: Becker Mexico radio, Air-conditioning, powered windows. This car was sold new to the United States. It was exported to The Netherlands and has been maintained in perfect condition. Later on, it was sold to a Belgian Car collector from Antwerp. There are no leakages and the exhaust has been replaced lately. The car drives incredibly well and participated lately at several rally’s, including one in Tuscany, Italy. No need to say this is a very reliable car. The car is matching numbers and the very striking colour combination of the car are the original ones.
