Heated garage storage, on blocks for winter. Excellent suspension, frame, and under-carriage. Solid posture, takes bumps well. Engine: 4.2 liter, in-line 6 cylinder. Starts, runs and idles great; coolant system works very effectively. Oil pressure is very good and exhaust is clean with no smoke. Engine compartment is clean and major components are stock. All instrument gauges are in proper working order, except the odometer. All routine maintenance has been done. Driven only locally for the past 15 years. Transmission: 4 speed manual, new clutch in 2006. All the gears work and it shifts smoothly. Paint about 25 years old. Overall, paint looks good, there are a few minor stone chips, scratches, etc. Wheels: Chrome, spoke wire wheels. Michelin 185-15 tubed tires, classic red walls. Convertible: 2 tops, both soft and hard top, which is not in good shape. Includes: Original owner's manual, along with (1) Haynes Owners Workshop Manual, and (2) Haynes Weber Carburetor Tech book Manual. Brass knock-off socket for spoke wheels. Scissor jack and spare tire mounted on fifth chrome spoke wheel. This car is a perfect base for an easy restoration to bring it to the highest standards

Model description Open headlights without glass covers, a wrap-around rear bumper, re-positioned and larger front indicators and tail lights below the bumpers, better cooling aided by an enlarged "mouth" and twin electric fans, and uprated brakes are hallmarks of Series 2 cars. De-tuned in US with twin strombergs and larger valve clearances, but still with triple SUs in the UK and the much tighter valve clearances, the engine is easily identified visually by the change from smooth polished cam covers to a more industrial "ribbed" appearance.
