Specific description Chassis number B8BA is a very special Aluminum Mulliner body design 7409. Only 12 of those aluminum bodies have been produced. This Bentley was one with the first electric tops ever made. It was sold new to Mr. Barrs in Derby Engeland and was later exported to the U.S.. In 2010 Thierry Dehaeck bought this car as a restoration project and it was sent to Belgium. The restoration took 3 years and is of very high quality. This beautiful Bentley is now in its original splendor and of course in its original inside and outside colors.

Model description This Bentley S1 was built as a rolling chassis in august 1956 and was fitted with an aluminum’ Mulliner drop head coupe body (Mulliner Design nr 7409) On a total of 3108 Bentleys S1 from April 1955 till July 1959 the vast majority (2924) had standard steel factory bodies. The remaining 184 had custom made bodies by various coachbuilders. 43 cars were equipped with a H.J. Mulliner body of which only 12 had the 7409 DHC design
